Oregon Coast Loops 1000


Description First run in 2008, this route consists of 3 loops. The brevet is completely unsupported. There are several motels to pick from in the area including LaQuinta and Best Western.
Loop one uses the Kings Valley 600k (Day 1) route in reverse. It travels to the coast via Grand Ronde, Neskowin, Lincoln City, Logsden, Blodgett, Monmouth, Salem back to Wilsonville. The 2 miles of gravel occurs between Logsden & Blodgett.
Loop two uses much of the Three Capes 300k route. It travels to the coast via Sherwood, Forest Grove, Tillamook, Pacific City, Grand Ronde, Amity, Newberg back to Wilsonville.
Loop three uses much of the Covered Bridges 400k route. It travels south into the Willamette Valley via Scio, Sweet Home, Brownsville, Jefferson back to Wilsonville. This route includes 3 Covered Bridge information controls.

NOTE: The Little Nestucca River Rd will be closed Aug 28-30. As a result, the route will be rerouted to Hebo on days 1 & 2. Day 3 will change to ensure the correct distance by removing two controls.

  • You will be on your own after the start. At the finish, have your card signed at a business in Wilsonville. Many are 24 hrs. Recommend a sit-down meal at Shari's on Parkway.
  • Need a room? Check for "Weekend Deals" at www.lq.com. But there are many different options in Wilsonville.
  • This route is nicely serviced. You should have no problem finding food and water.

Little things to not forget:
  • Pencil - Lots of information controls.
  • Lights - Front and rear.
  • Reflective vest and ankle bands.
