Eden's Gate 400

Description	The original Eden's Gate route. The routes heads south in the Willamette Valley as far as Walterville. The route is fairly flat, in some locations, dead flat. Controls in Stayton, Sweet Home, Walterville, Harrisburg, and Independance. Quit a few covered bridges, lots of farms, and a nueclear-free zone.

Additional Info	You will be on your own after the start. At the finish, have your card signed at a business in Wilsonville. Many are 24 hrs. Recommend a sit-down meal at Shari's on Parkway. Need a room? Check for "Weekend Deals" at www.lq.com. But there are many different options in Wilsonville. This route is nicely serviced. You should have no problem finding food and water. Little things to not forget: Pencil - Lots of information controls. Lights - Front and rear. Reflective vest and ankle bands.
