The ride follows SR 14 east to Bingen Washington turning north and gently climbing SR 141 to Trout Lake. From Trout Lake the ride follows FR 23 continuing north and gently climbing to the summit of the ride at the junction of FR 90 (3,650 feet). The ride follows FR 90 as it rolls south west along the Lewis River and old growth forests to the Curly Creek road.
