The route follows SR 22 to the outskirts of Topenish where it turns South and follows US 97 over Satus pass to Goldendale. At Goldendale the route turns west and follows SR 142 to the Glenwood Road and on to Glenwood. From Glenwood, the route turns southwest and rolls gently down along the BZ road to BZ Corners and SR 141.
